This project required an ability to supply a complementary range of ironmongery to be used on the back of house area and themed doors within the dungeon complex. The range would not only need to be cost effective but would need to be practical and stand the high volumes of traffic it would receive on a day to day basis. The project consisted of over 150 mixed use doors which also required the specification and coordination to the supply and installation of 20 semi automatic door openers to the building.

After successfully completing the supply of ironmongery to the new penguin enclosure. Knex Architecturial Ironmongery Ltd were invited to specify a high security range of products to the tiger and ostrich enclosure which was formally opened by the Duke of Edinburgh on the 20th March 2013. The specified range required a complex understanding of the end users requirements ensuring the clients confidence in our products without compromising functionality. We are currently implementing a new master key system to the whole complex covering over 2000 doors sets.

This five floor fast track prestigious project required a reactive and flexible approach which meant Knex Architectural Ironmongery Ltd was our clients preferred choice. The project demanded that we provided a minimalistic range of ironmongery to blend in with the various flavours of the internal decoration of the building. This project was awarded first prize in the Gold award for (Interior fit out office) category and the overall project of the year.

A high end fit out requiring Knex Architectural Ironmongery Ltd to deliver a combination off the shelf compliant products integrating with complete bespoke fabrications within a demanding timescale comprising of forty mixed timber and glass door sets. This involved the coordination of designing and manufacturing bespoke lock sets to glass doors and handmade leather stitched clad pull handles to the clients specification. This project clearly demonstrated our ability to utilise our experience to manufacture products from the drawing board and delivering to our client without any compromise to the projects programme.
